Bell & Ross, the famous French watch brand, recently presented a new special and limited edition of 500 pieces of its BR 03-94 Multimeter watch. This watch features a 42mm matte black ceramic case, water resistant up to 100 meters, and is equipped with an automatic chronograph movement that allows the display of three functions: tachometer, pulsometer and asthmameter. These three functions are integrated into a single timepiece, which is intended to be suitable for running, cycling and driving.
The watch's 42mm square case is characteristic of the BR 03 models, with its round-within-square design. The case is made of matte black ceramic, a lightweight, hypoallergenic material that is also scratch-resistant. The multi-colored dial of this watch is loaded with information, but that's what makes it so charming. There is no other solution for displaying the numerous measurements offered by this rather special chronograph.
Two additional dial counters complete the chronograph indication, one located at 9 o'clock indicating the chrono minutes and the other at 3 o'clock displaying the permanent seconds. To guarantee optimal readability, the watchmaker has opted for double-unbalanced hands, whose counterweight compensates for the absence of indexes.
The BR 03-94 Multimeter also displays the hour and minutes by central hands, as well as the date in an unusually placed window at 1:30 where it does not hide any information. Its chrono scale graduated to 60 minutes is classically placed on the flange of the dial.
